Volunteer & Guest Services aims to provide a pleasing experience for every Parkland patient and visitor.

The Parkland Auxiliary was the first charitable and volunteer organization that supported Parkland. The Auxiliary was organized in 1940 at the request of the Board of Managers. Its purpose remains to render "any assistance to the hospital that might lie within its powers." It has financially sponsored many worthwhile, far-reaching projects for the benefit of the patients, hospital staff and Parkland Health & Hospital System. The Director of Volunteer & Guest Services is also the Parkland Liaison to the Auxiliary. Auxiliary-based businesses that operate at Parkland are as follows:

The Parkland Gift Shop is located at the Front Entrance of Parkland. Hours of operation: 6:30 a.m. to 7:45 p.m., Monday to Friday; 9:15 a.m. to 3:45 p.m., Saturday to Sunday. Holiday hours vary.
