Family Planning Parkland provides family planning services to women and men at seven clinic locations throughout Dallas. For questions or more information about family planning, please call 214.590.0005 to speak with a Parkland Representative. Locations include: deHaro–Saldivar Women's Health Center East Dallas Women's Health Center Garland Women's Health Center Grand Prairie-E. Carlyle Smith, Jr. Health Center Irving Women's Health Center Maple Women's Health Center Oakwest Women's Health Center Southeast Women's Health Center Services include: Exams are provided by our Advanced Nurse Practitioners at each clinic site. Education and counseling is provided by our Health Educators. Visits may include a Pap smear, breast exam, STD testing, HIV testing, other lab work, pregnancy test, or counseling. Referrals for additional care can be made by our nurse practitioners if patients require further evaluation or treatment. Services are available for women and men who are seeking family planning services. We have several grant programs available to patients who come to our clinics. We can also help patients apply for Medicaid. By asking some questions about the patient's financial situation, like income and family size, we are able to determine whether a grant program will pay for all or a portion of their family planning services. Patients may be able to receive services for free or at a reduced rate. Co-pay amounts are based on our patient's ability to pay according to a sliding fee scale.
